Can I get more than 1 script?
Yes. You can obtain up to 1 repeat prescription for the same medication in one request if clinically appropriate. Each prescription is reviewed by a GP or NP to ensure it meets safety and suitability requirements.
What does e-script mean?
An eScript is an electronic prescription sent to your phone via SMS or email as a QR code. You can present this code at any Australian pharmacy to collect your medication. It’s a secure, paperless way to manage your repeat medication.
How long does it take to get a prescription?
Requests are usually reviewed promptly after your telehealth consultation with our GP. If approved, your online prescription is generally sent the same day. Processing times may vary based on demand and clinical requirements.
Can I obtain restricted medication?
No. URGENTClinic does not provide prescriptions for restricted or controlled substances. Our service is limited to medications available on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), subject to clinical assessment.
What medications can I get?
We can provide prescriptions for most medications listed on the PBS, including treatments for ongoing conditions and some antibiotics (if clinically appropriate). All requests are reviewed by an Australian-registered GP.
